Beautiful Lake Superior Fluorescent Sodalite! This stone has been polished. Turn on an ultra violet (UV) light and the stone instantly glows like embers in a fire!

Fluorescent Sodalites are sometimes called “Yooperlites” here in Michigan. Even though this is an unofficial name for the stone, it is well know by that term. This “Yooperlite” has a very bright orange ember appearance under a longwave UV light.
